Taken in morning twilight, its body out of sight below the riverbank. Normally, at this point
we see each other simultaneously and the heron takes off, giving me a squawk of protest.
This one just stayed where it was and ignored me.

Note - this was taken handheld at 1/10s at 300mm, equivalent of 480mm on this camera.
Just gotta love image stabilization.
