If you can't get a spalted maple SG, then you have to build one yourself, I guess :-)
It's not a SG Special ... it's a Special SG :-)
All measurements are consistent with the Gibson SG with the following exceptions:
Longer neck tenon
Less headstock angle (11 degrees)
Spalted/flame maple top on mahogany base, rather than a top-less mahogany
Ebony vaneer between maple and mahogany
Stewart MacDonald Golden Age humbuckers
Standard SG wiring
Ebony fingerboard
