  Keith writes: I purchased the guitar, new, in Jan 1973 from a Sheffield UK music store for about £25. After 35 years on the guitar is still going strong!
  Both my children (now 34 and 30)learned to play on this guitar and both went on to join University bands. Nothing's been repaired or replaced.

Keith provided the information that is stamped on the neck block: "Made in Japan 020672." We have concluded that at least on the F907 model, this number represents the manufacturing date. In the case of Keith's guitar, that was 02 June 1972. The number on Mark's F907 is 07 Sept 1972.
