The Yosemite Valley picture was originally a Kodachrome slide. There was so much UV and humidity, I found that splitting the channels and producing a B&W worked much better. I think this was the red channel if I remember correctly. The original slide wasn't that great. I am glad that I came out with something usable anyway. I would like to visit Yosemite in the winter time, but living on the east coast makes it a little harder.
