FYI, I consider this one a prototype and have another one started. The second one will have a couple of improvements -- I think I will make the chambers larger for example.
Ubi, the chambered walnut body really does provide a deep full sound, while the maple top enhances the bright tones. The thru-body neck and thru-body strings enhance sustain. The Carvin pickups are really wonderful too -- they have a beautiful vintage tone, but are very flexible as well. With the JP LP wiring configuration, this guitar has the ability to present many different sounds.
