Fire at the Old Railway Station, Jerusalem

According to investigators a short circuit caused this fire near the Old Railway Station in Jerusalem (the "First Station"). A car went up in flames, igniting another car as well as the dry grass on Bible Hill across the street, spreading towards the Scottish Church. Firefighters soon extinguished the fire. While this fire may likely be the result of an accident, recent fires in the forests around Jerusalem have been attributed to arson, or to the barrage of Palestinian rockets hitting Israel.
