The Snowy River starts to flow again after having been starved for half a century.
The Snowy Mountains Hydro-Electric Scheme was built in the 1950's.
The Snowy River was diverted to feed the various Dams leaving a mere trickle over the years.
Now it has been agreed to gradually release more water to revive the Snowy River.
