I am indebted to Merle Flitter Grollman for the loan of this photograph, which I believe was made in the summer of 1949 at the "Camptown" day camp of the Easton, PA Jewish Community Center. I am guessing that it was shot by my late uncle, Herb Snyder. The dating results from the presence in the photo of my aunt, Channa Levi, then "Hilda Snyder" (far left, standing) and her then husband-to-be, Avraham Levi, then probably known as "Alfred" (top row, fifth from left). It would be fun to assemble an identification chart of all the people in the photograph. Please send your ID list (left to right, row identified) to melsnyder@earthlink.net. And please circulate the URL of this photo to as many current and former Eastonians as you can!
