3-star Hotel

Radiating in post-modern architectural glamour, the skyscrapers in Pudong are definitely among the world's most breathtaking, even some of factory plants are not exceptional (right). The Jinmao Building (2nd from left) is reportedly the world's third tallest, after Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's Petronas Tower and Chicago's Sears Tower. More than an office building, it also houses a Grand Hyatt hotel which occupies the top 38 floors and has thus received the distinction as the world's tallest hotel. Jinmao is joined by many other dramatic-looking buildings in the financial district surrounding the Central Park (left) and beyond (middle). In fact, they are such a commonplace that you virtually see them everywhere you turn in Pudong, not to mention many more are coming (2nd from right, glass panel walls are being put on the tower on the left. The building on the right is our hotel).
