Maybe Starbucks could try this one!

So I woke up on my 60th birthday and worked eighty math problems in my head to stimulate brain function. Found myself in the kitchen fixing my mother Cheerios and a cup of coffee. I cautiously put the bowl aside out of Chef Guppy's reach and proceeded to cut up the banana for her Cheerios into the cup of coffee. Can you say dementia?

Hahaha...not dementia! You were just picking up on the whole universe celebrating your birthday! Starbucks' featured coffee online today was none other than -- guess what? -- "Banana Coconut Frappuccino® Blended Coffee"! How's that for serendipity? Hmmm...I've got bananas & coconut--will have to try to whip one of those up tomorrow...it's actually sounds delicious to me! Cheers!

Thank you for a very understandable giggle. I'm 66. Try putting the coffee into the filter basket, pouring the water in the reservoir and then turning on the pot with the carafe on the other side of the room. (and I've done that more than once!) Isabel
