Cranberry Harvest in the Pinelands

Three generations of the Haines family have worked the cranberry harvest as Haines and Haines - the largest single producer in the pinelands of New Jersey. The day was windy and cold and exhilirating as we captured the colors and textures of this tradition. Many thanks to the Haines family, their hardworking crews and our guide Bob Birdsall.

The Haines operation owns 13,000 acres in Hogwallow,New Jersey, the center of the Pinelands.
