The A and B units have been modified, including modifications made to the crossover platforms and platform supports. Although this is basically the intended paint scheme for this car, I will need to repaint it entirely. The prototype Maxi II cars had the large DOUBLE STACK 125 SERVICE slogans on all three intermediate units and none of them had the large 48 that was prominent on each well of the later Maxi III cars. In other words, Athearn did a good job of putting a Maxi III paint scheme on their Maxi III car.
