Shortly after assembling the Adapter-Railer kit I discovered all the Adapter-Railers had tandem highway axles, not the spread axles the standard RoadRailers had (isn't that always how it works?). I wanted to replace the crude highway suspension and wheels as well as relocate the rail axle to reflect the prototype but I could not find any detailed photos of the suspension. After a few years I finally found enough to get started and this is the result. I've used Lonestar Models air ride suspension modified to force the axles closer to the trailer floor along with some styrene channel, strip and rod. The wheels are 3D printed parts.
