The front pilot was rebuilt from styrene sheet using the rear pilot as a template. Atlas SD35 coupler boxes were passed through a hole in the pilot to secure the body to the frame. The windows will be replaced with AMB Laserkit acrylic glazing and some nonskid decals will be applied to the nose. The front railings are brass wire and Smokey Valley stanchions from a GP60B kit. Sergent Type F couplers have been installed to match the prototype locomotive.
