Since Frosted Ultra Detail and Frosted Extreme Detail are both types of acrylic, the plastic is a touch brittle if you try to chop the parts from the sprue. I trimmed the parts from each other with a razor saw and cleaned up the "sprue" with a small file. Using a hobby knife or scalpel the way you'd clean up styrene parts could result in the parts cracking or splitting.
