This is an old Details West kit I've had lying around for years. I intended to paint it up in FGE's cream scheme, but never got around to it. After years of languishing on my workbench, I decided either toss it out or finish it. I hate high handbrakes on the real thing, but like them on models, so after finding a photo of a BN prototype with a high brakewheel and five rung ladders at the other corners, I raided an old P2K automobile boxcar kit for brake appliances and ladders and got started.
