After living in Georgia, I became interested in the NS and its predecessor roads that wound through the kudzu covered hills. This model started as an old "blue box" Athearn GP38-2 decorated for Conrail that I picked up at a store in LaGrange, GA in the early 90s. This was the first build I did with Cannon's high short hood. I've kept it all this time because I just can't see my collection without it.
