North Texas Free-mo set up at the Fort Worth Intermodal Transportation Center on March 23-25, 2012 on the second floor overlooking the main concourse. The Fort Worth ITC is used by the Fort Worth T, the Trinity Railway Express, Greyhound Bus Lines and Amtrak. In addition to the passenger activity, BNSF freight trains pass frequently along the BNSF Fort Worth Sub. located a few yards from the depot.

There was plenty of action on the layout to match the action outside. While Amtrak, the TRE and BNSF made appearances outside, their HO scale counterparts moved around on the layout inside. Participants inlcuded: Jacob Damron, Jeff Ritter, Tye Jackson, Randy and Tyler Rogers, Foster Brennan and myself.
