Much photographed so it is hard to be original here. Clearly a photographers dream the Brighton bathing boxes appeared in the late 1800's on Brighton beach, a suburb to the south of Melbourne. In December 2003 one of them as sold at an auction on the beach for 150 thousand A$ !
