I attended the 50th Anniversary Celebrations in Ottawa, but was unable to make the trip to Petawawa. Don McVee's photo collection of this event is truly remarkable. A faithful record has been preserved for posterity. The 50th Anniversary Reunion was a 'once in a lifetime 'event. Excellent Work and very good pictures. Due to a funeral, I was unable to attend. It nice to see that the old guys are still holding the Association together. Where are the younger guys?

An excellent job on the photography of the reunion was not here but brings back a lot of Memories,don't reconize any but probably knew a few,thru the internet I met Hal Burke of the 4th Bn who I serveed with in Valcartier but did not go to Korea, We met and had coffee together in Brandon after 50 Yrs .That was a reunion of it's own.He wqs also known as Kid Burke. Excellent work Don, Great photographs, wish I could have been there but the best laid plans etc.

The guys look great , just not as great as we used to look, age takes it's toll.

Remarkable Gallery of the reunion, yet remarkable, was always the standard. Don, all I see is old guys, where are all those smart looking Guardsmen? Excellent job Sir, your efforts are very much appreciated. The most dedicated Soldiers who exemplify, Honor and Integrity by merely doing what is "Right". Something many of our political figures could learn from. Hope to attend in the near future when I can.
