Washington State portion (Days 10-13)

I birded western and central WA State hard for the last 3 days of the trip. My #1 priority was Sooty Grouse, which thanks to great advice from Paul Lehman and his contacts in the area, I got at sunrise on my first day of birding. This left me some extra time to work central WA into my plans and try for Gray Partridge, which I finally found (barely). Spent a lot of time in the Cascades, some gorgeous country!
