Following are several images from a short, but hectic, trip to the LRGV in January of 2005. This was strictly target birding for the amazing rash of rarities that showed up this winter. We drove 2900 miles in 5 days, but had time for some great birding, and some decent shots. I picked up 11 "lifers" on the trip, more than I had expected.
