White-throated Toucan

Imataca Forest Preserve

White-throated, or Red-billed, Toucan was the commonly encountered large Rhamphastid of the trip. We had them on 5 days, vs. 2 days with Channel-billed. This shot was early in the morning in the Imataca. The Plumbeous Kite and Mealy Amazon photos came from this same spot.
