We saw a Common Potoo on a couple of pre-dawn trips up the Escalera Rd at Siera de Lema, but the looks we had at this Great Potoo were a little more relaxed.

We were coming back from a walk along one of the trails, when one of the local guides showed us a picture of this bird in the book, it took a second for it to sink in that they actually had one of these in the scope for us! I would never have seen this bird in a million years!
