This Venezuelan endemic is found only around the Orinoco Delta. It is a recent-split from Golden-spangled Piculet, which we also saw well. We had White-bellied and heard Scaled Piculet on the trip as well.

This photo was taken at La Vuelta Larga, where many people have gotten this endemic. This is also one of the prime spots for Crimson-hooded Manakin.
