An extremely common bird, and one that I mistakenly had intended to wait until the tail-end of the trip to spend any time trying to get photos of (at which time my camera got the best of me)
This female, is one several that were actually our 1st of the trip, and lifers for Don. We were looking at them, when I picked up Black-throated Gray Warbler and California Thrasher, other target birds. This is at the residence of the ranger, just across the road from Tamarisk Grove Camprground, in Anza-Borrego Desert SP.
