This juvenile was one of two Golden's seen on the day, the other being at Duck River Unit of the TNWR, in Humphreys County.
The bird had gained altitude and gotten farther away by the time I got my camera and was ready for a shot, but the extensive white in the tail and base of the remiges is still obvious on this very well marked bird. Coincidentaly, the other Golden seen earlier in the day (app. 40 miles away and traveling in opposite direction) was the same age-class and very similary marked.
