Though a little distant, a nicely-marked juvie Black-bellied Plover. Even in this marginal shot, the big bill, very pale overall look, relatively short wings extending just past tail, and unmarked white belly and vent all differentiate this bird from a juvie American Golden-Plover. Of course, a look at the tail, underwing or wingstripe will leave no doubt as well.
