This is one of 14+ Sooty Terns that Jeff Wilson and I had in the aftermath of Hurrican Dennis as it tracked up through west TN. Conditions obviously weren't favorable on this day, especially when trying to digiscope highly maneuverable pelagic species like Sooty Terns. Jeff got some nice shots with his camera.

Dennis scattered great birds over a wide area, but Pickwick was as good as any, with the amazing number of Sooties, as well as a Bridled and Royal Tern, and Parasitic Jaeger.
