I'm unsure of the subspecies of this bird, I thought it looked good for a tundrius, but the forehead and lores are only barely paler than the rest of the head, these regions are noticeably whitish on tundra birds. It doesn't look to be an anatum, as they lack the pale mottling on the nape that this bird shows, and the malar mark is usually wider (though can overlap with tundrius). I think this bird best fits the "Eastern" description given to the birds of mixed parentage that were used for the Peregrine re-introduction programs in the east.
