This is the best of my sitting shots, but the angle looks to be exaggerating the length of the bill. Still, the bill is at least half black. The overall grayish look to the bird is again apparent, as is the crisp barring of the undertail coverts and pale crisp edging above. The nape was always a very pale gray, but the facial colors and pattern could change with angle. Notice in this shot that the face is darker around the eye, and in a following shot that there is no indication of this. I have noticed this in other's photos of this bird.
