I can't even recall what it was that ruined this otherwise decent shot, but you can see that this is a distinctive bird. The back is a nice purplish-violet color. The Starlings of this trip were overall much more attractive than our Common Starling. This bird was only seen on Eocheong, with up to three present, along with a Daurian, White-shouldered, and Grey.
