This is the only Temmick's Stint of the trip, and was really lucked up on. We had gone back to look for a breeding plumage Curlew Sandpiper (also the only one of the trip), when this Temmick's literally flew by us and landed along the grassy edge of a pool. It took a while to find it, but great views were had (contrary to my images) as it fed with Long-toed Stints.
The very dull coloration, scattered black feathers on the upperparts, and long tail projecting noticeably beyond wings are visible.
