As often seems to be the case, this photo doesn't do justice to this bird. Male Narcissus Flycatchers are blazingly brilliant birds. I took many photos of this species, and none really do it justice. I had 7 species of Flycatcher on the trip, with all but one photographed. They range in color from the gorgeous Ficedula and Blue-and-white Flyctchers, to the very dull Asian Brown. One member of the group even saw one of the exotic Paradise Flycatchers.

Narcissus put on a very good show on Eocheong,where this adult male was photographed, with up to 30 in a day!
