This is looking from Ko'olau Rd towards the ocean, over the extensive open areas in the area. This road included very diverse habitat, and this is near the area that I encountered Japanese Quail, which are more regular along this road than anywhere else on the island. I also got my lifer Pacific Golden-Plover and Greater-Necklaced Laughingthrush along this road.
