Sooty Tern wound-up being the most common species on the pelagic trip, which is very unusual. Normally this time of the year Cory's Shearwater or Wilson's Storm-Petrel gets that honor, although Wilson's was BARELY edged out. My issues with photographing pelagics is obvious here as well. We saw a few Bridled Terns with the Sooties, but I never got a photo of one of these.
