Steve Howell just happened to look up from the doorway midships, and this White-tailed Tropicbird had snuck in undetected and was circling high over the boat! Unfortunately it didn't like the sudden attention and immediately left flying dead away up our wake. I was glad to get even this quality of shot, this was the one frame I took while it was directly overhead at the rear of the boat. People up front had much better angles.
