Key Largo seemed to be covered with Black-whiskereds. I was surprised to have not heard any in the Everglades, and indeed we had only a single bird before hitting the Keys. Of course, they were pretty common in the right habitat in the Keys. I lost some of my best shots of this species as well, but several shots follow anyway....
