Wish I could get flight shots. My cool pix 995 can only handle perched birds and birds on the ground shot through the scope. On May 22 at 739 pond I had Forster's Tern, Black Tern, Black-bellied Plover, both Dowitchers, Semi-palmated Sandpipers, Semi-palmated Plovers, Dunlin and one unknown egret all going every which way across my field of view but I couldn't get any of them in flight even if they passed by at little more than arm's length, as did the Semi-palmated Sandpipers.
