This 2nd bird, which came by shortly after a couple of US Border Patrol airboats blasted thru, had much more red on the face than the first bird. This is often cited as a sign of domestic genes in the mix, but I've seen photos of wild Muscovies from South America with similar amounts. I considered both of the ones we saw on this day wild birds.
