This lone male McCown's alerted me to its presence by calling overhead. It circled several times, but never had any luck finding a companion, and wasn't hanging around with the big flock of Chestnut-collared.

The diagnostic rufous median coverts are visible in this shot. I shot a BUNCH of photos of this bird, and had a couple turn out pretty well (for a little bird high in the sky anyway)
