We had a nice flock of 50+ Laps, which we encountered overhad several times before finally getting scope looks on the ground. We are at the southern edge of their winter range, and this was a lifer for my guide as well. I was surprised that he got 4 new birds on our short trip, while I did better than I had hoped with 12!
