Had Parrots much easier on this trip than on my two previous. We missed them the 1st trip in '03, and had only flyby's in '05.

There were 70 on the wires here near Valley Nature Center. Among them were a Yellow-headed (I think), and a Lilac-crowned. The rest looked to be all Red-crowned to me, with many younger birds with only a small red frontal area.

It was getting dark quickly, so these photos had to be lightened considerably.
