Comet ASASSN (2017 O1)

A comet actually discovered by the All-Sky Automated Survey for Supernovae, hence the acronym "ASASSN".
Not very spectacular, to say the least, though it should get a little brighter over the next few months. Currently it's a 10th magnitude blob in Taurus.

Modified Canon EOS 600D,Revelation 12" Newtonian reflector
13 x 90-sec unguided exposures, f/4 and ISO 3200.
Images, darks and flat frames registered and stacked on the comet using Deep Sky Stacker software.
Curves adjusted in Canon Photo Professional; noise reduction via Cyberlink PhotoDirector. full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto
