This comet, the fifth discovered by Terry Lovejoy, is very low to the south at the moment (but is moving north). I only had a short time to obtain the exposures while the view was unobstructed.
Modified Canon EOS 600D,Pentacon 300mm f/4 7 x 3-minute exposures, ISO 1600, f/4. Camera piggybacked on a Celestron C8.
Images registered and stacked on the comet (hence the trailed stars) using Deep Sky Stacker software. Initial curves adjusted in Canon Photo Professional; final curves & colour-balance adjusted using Paint Shop Pro; noise reduction via CyberLink PhotoDirector.
