Comet 103P/Hartley (lower right) and the Pacman Nebula NGC 281

Canon EOS 40D ,Pentacon 300mm f4
This is the result of 14 x 4-minute subs at ISO 1600, with an unmodded 40D, Pentacon 300mm f4 lens, piggybacked on a C8 telescope.

The images were registered & stacked in DeepSkyStacker; processed in Canon Photo Professional, Noel Carboni's Tools in Photoshop Elements and final curves adjustment in Paint Shop Pro. I've slightly cropped the result. full exif
