Jupiter showing comet or asteriod impact scar

The scar, the result of an impact on 19 July and discovered by Australian amateur astronomer Anthony Wesley, appears as a dark mark towards the bottom of the disk. Jupiter's moon Io is visible to the left of the disk, while Europa is faintly visible to the right (near the edge of the image).
