Jan 1Happy New Year....
First image taken for Project 365, only 364 to go.
If you lost some comfy and fashionable sandals while celebrating New Year's Eve, call me soon.
I know where they are and they are dangerously close to a trip to a land fill... |

Jan 3Riley is thinking, "Dad, look what I found, can we take it home?"
"Please..., it has dual recliners!" |
Jan 4Lunch today at my new favorite sandwich shop.
Try the Pork Belly Cubano, it's a winner.... |
Jan 5On this date, 53 years ago I took my first ride on an airplane. A flight on a DC 3 from Logan International in Boston to Lackland AF base in Texas. It was the beginning of my 4 yr stint in the USAF. I avoided the draft by 30 days, whew....
I have a vivid memory of my first assignment to the 3723rd Basic Military Training Squadron, Flight 47.
My time in the AF was a piece-o-cake, as I had previously served 3 years in the Royal Canadian Army, 5th Medical Company as a medic (bed pan carrier).

The owner claims the most common question is always, does that have an automatic transmission?
I'm not sure I buy that, but the answer is yes. |
Jan 10Tiny Dancer
"Hold me closer tiny dancer"
No dancing today as she only dances in the sunshine.
When the spotlight is on, she can really cut-a-rug, Miley would be envious. |

Jan 15Skunked Again
Stopped by The Women's Forum Park last night to get a shot of the full moon over Crown Point in the Columbia River Gorge. The combination of low clouds, haze, and fog completely obscured the moonrise. This has happened before, numerous times. The rock in the distance is Beacon Rock, a favorite of climbers. |

According to Aquasana, "In recent studies, it has been found
that many water fountains have been contaminated with
pathogens such as bacteria. Due to cases in the past
where children have fallen ill due to coliform bacteria
poisoning, many governments have placed strict regulations
on drinking fountain designs. The vertical spout design is
now illegal in most United
States jurisdictions." |
