On the right, the church of the Santissima Annunziata
which was founded by the Servite order (Servants of Mary)
in 1250. It has undergone several alterations, the present
facade is from the Baroque period. The building on the
left was also built for the Servites, note the initials
in the rondels. It compliments Brunnelleschi's beautiful
Spedale which faces it across the Piazza.
