Cairngorms, Speyside, Scotland

***** Best viewed in ORIGINAL size *****

Where winter meets autumn near the summit of the Cairngorm mountain
At 3,600ft, just under the clouds, winter has arrived, -1oC and a chill factor of -10oC
Down the mountain the warmth of Autumn can be seen through the Spey valley with the contrast of conditions

Wow, this is absolutely stunning!! Almost every time I've been up the Cairngorms, the weather has been foggy, Only once did I actually see across the mountaintops, but never in snow. V
